Place the trap near resting areas
Placing the trap near these areas maximizes the chances of catching pests. Set up Willo about 1 to 2 meters away from these areas so that it can effectively release its attractants while remaining inconspicuous.
Avoid areas exposed to the wind
The wind disperses the scents released by the trap (CO₂ and attractant), making it harder for mosquitoes to locate Willo. Choose sheltered locations, such as behind a wall or a hedge, or in the shelter of natural or man-made structures.
The trap is an artificial predator. To effectively control the mosquito population, it should be placed where there are the most mosquitoes in the garden. If that location is too far from the patio you want to protect, the trap can be placed between the vegetation and the patio to capture some of the mosquitoes along the way.
On the other hand, if the trap is placed too close to your living area, it may end up competing with you and the people there.

What is the difference between the METAL model and the WOOD model?
From a technical standpoint, the two models are exactly the same! The Willo Wood trap stands out thanks to its wood finish. Both models feature a light:
- Willo Wood is illuminated only on the front;
- Willo Metal is illuminated on the front and sides.
